About Me
You can read all about what I do as a copywriter via the “Services” link to the left… but there’s a lot more to me than that!
I’m originally from Minnesota, which is where I get my accent.
It’s been a while since I’ve voluntarily spent 6 months (or more) underneath a blanket of snow though.
After graduating from Notre Dame with a degree in Economics, I took off on an overseas adventure that has yet to slow down.
I travel A LOT, and love living abroad, encountering new cultures, and learning languages. I’m working on my fifth so far, and I hope there will be more to come.
I have a great passion for storytelling, especially stories that make a difference.
The best example is the documentary film I produced about the rural village of Fondwa, Haiti, which you can see at www.Fondwa.org.
My professional background includes founding and directing a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, starting and running two successful marketing and information publishing businesses, and extensive volunteer service in the US and abroad.
I recently lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I ran my copywriting business from my home office overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain.
I’m also officially working on my first book… though travel is taking precedence right now, so don’t look for it on bookshelves just yet.
If you want to keep up on my latest projects and travels, you can always catch me over at my blog, www.BrianMcElroy.name.
Drop by and say hi sometime!
All the best,
Brian McElroy
