Welcome To “The Language Of Copy”

Hi folks,

This is awesome!

I’m so pleased to see an overwhelming response from people who want to improve their copywriting skills. Thank you for joining me.

What’s nice is… I don’t have to convince you that this is important! So cool.

I received personal feedback from over 100 people the day I sent an email announcing this training.

In fact… they designed this training for me!

Here are the main topics of interest, judging by the feedback I received:

- Going beyond “just” a sales page- how do you create an entire campaign?

- How do I add value and pre-sell, before getting people in my funnel?

- Can I see a whole launch, step-by-step, from A to Z? I want the whole picture!

- How do you turn a sales letter into a sales video?

- How can I speak the language of my target market… if I’m not an expert?

- What about long copy vs. short copy?

- How can I format my copy for maximum conversion… without giving myself a tech headache?

- How can I leverage social networks without being too “salesy?”

There were also a lot of questions on how to get copywriting clients, but that will be for another training :D

I’ll incorporate all of the above and more in my posts, PDFs, and videos in the days to come.

    I am so glad to be apart of another great training series from you, and to beat it all it’s free! And, that is by no means saying it’s not quality. I can testify to the fact that every free product or advice you have given me was worth more than any product I bought elsewhere… and at times it rivals your own paid products! You certainly know how to step up the quality and value to a whole new level.

    I can not wait to finish this copywriting course, and to those who might be new to Brian’s copywriting teachings… I suggest checking out his Copywriting Quickstart videos linked to above. They are great, and were the best copywriting material I have found.

    In the videos Brian breaks everything down into an easy to understand way, and makes the whole process seem easy (which it is if you stick to his method).

    I am fixing to go and re-watch and re-take notes on the Copywriting Quickstart videos to get myself back up to speed. I can not wait for your next lesson Brian!

  2. I have an additional question for you. Maybe you can add this to your training. What’s a reasonable rate to charge for copywriting if you’re new to the trade?

    Deanna, I will answer your question right here, because the business of copywriting isn’t a part of the training I have planned (just the practice of copywriting itself).

    I’ll tell you what I did- I built up a small portfolio of my own work, and got a couple of things to convert. I entered the copywriting market at a little over $1k for a sales letter, and worked to raise my rates as quickly as possible.

    If you’re just breaking in, focus on writing proven winners and track your results like a maniac- you’ll be well rewarded.

    I just wanted to be the first to Thank You for doing this. I have always wanted to learn to write copy as I am terrible at it for now. The only problem is that I didn’t have the Hundreds or Thousands of Dollars to spend on this training from other copywriters in the past.

    I’m fairly new to marketing, been studying, reading, listening & watching for many, many hours during this time. But writing, be it salescopy, emails, any of it I’m still really having a hard time with. That’s probably the biggest holdback on me having a site, or even a blog up yet. So I’m looking foward to this… even BH is hoping this is the last piece of the puzzle for me so I can start payin more attention to her again.

    I’m just starting to investigate the web thing. I have found it very confusing and a little mind blowing – words seem to be very cheap and sorting out good from bad a real headache.     Wow, can you take someone who used to write legal documents and make them into a copywriter? Up until now – I haven’t been able to master it. But this course is different.
